Browsing Conference Proceedings

   Multiple views of Conference Proceedings (including listings based on subject matter) are available via the "Browse Proceedings" link. Browsable content includes:

Searching Conference Proceedings

   There are two search tools available for finding Conference Proceedings articles:

  • Search for Articles

  • Search for Volumes
   The "Search for Articles" function allows a user to retrieve individual article records with links to the full-text articles in PDF format (where available). Searching options include:
  • Search All Online Proceedings 2000 – present: returns records for only those proceedings (Volumes 500-present) that feature PDF articles for purchase.

  • Search All Proceedings 1975 – present: returns records for all proceedings (Volumes 24-present); articles for Proceedings Volumes 24-present may be ordered for "offline" document delivery (hard-copy), but not for online (PDF) delivery.
   The "Search for Volumes" function enables a user to perform a simple keyword search to isolate proceedings volumes that may be of interest. The search returns a list of conference proceedings homepages that meet the search criteria.

Purchasing the Full Text of Conference Proceedings Articles

   AIP Conference Proceedings articles are available for credit-card purchase (American Express, MasterCard, and VISA only) for $22.00 (U.S.) each, with immediate online delivery of the PDF (Portable Document Format) file to your computer.

   To purchase an article, first select the article by browsing the Proceedings contents or by searching for Proceedings articles. Then click on the "PDF" full-text link. You will be presented with the following screen:

To purchase the article, please select the option for "Quick Article Buy Online." You will now enter the Scitation DocumentStore to follow-through with your transaction. Follow the instructions on the screens, including entering your credit-card information. After purchase confirmation, the PDF article will be delivered to your desktop as well as sent as an e-mail attachment to the e-mail address entered on the purchase screen.

   In order to view or print the PDF, you must have an Adobe Acrobat product installed on your computer. The latest PDF readers, viewers, and plug-ins are available directly from Adobe Systems Incorporated.

   If you wish to order a hard-copy version of the article, follow the "Order Offline" link and follow the instructions.

NOTE: Online orders for "GZipped P(ost)S(cript)" will be fulfilled in PDF format.
