How can I register for Scitation?

What type of subscriptions do you offer?
Subscriptions are available per publisher with many different options, including:
• Individual Journal Subscriptions
• Library/Institutional Subscriptions
• Article Packs, Research Cards and other bundled article collections
• Society Memberships
• And various other subscription types to meet all your research needs!

Will the FREE! MyScitation registration provide me with free access to full-text articles?
No. Most of the articles on the platform require an online subscription or can be purchased. Select articles are available for free. Registering for the FREE! MyScitation Research Toolkit will allow you to build collections of your favorite articles and share your favorite articles with colleagues.

How can I receive access to full-text articles?
Single articles can be purchased at our Document Store. Most publications also offer various subscription options which can be viewed at the respective publication home page. Some publishers also offer Article Packs, bundles or Research Cards which provide a bulk amount of articles for a discounted price. Certain articles in various publications are also available for free.

How do I purchase single articles?
After locating the article you wish to purchase, click the PDF link and then choose “Quick Article Buy” from the login screen. The article will be added to your shopping cart and you can follow the listed steps within our Document Store to complete the purchase. A valid credit card is needed and the PDF will be immediately available to you upon completion of purchase. [hide answer]
Can I subscribe to publications I have interest in?
Yes. Please review the list of publications available on our platform. Please click the “Subscribe” link under the publication of interest to subscribe or receive subscription information. [hide answer]
I registered but every time I log in, I am returned to the same blank login window?
You likely have a valid login but do not have access to the publication you are trying to request. Please review your subscription information. You can contact the Scitation Help Desk for further assistance. [hide answer]
I received a message stating “You have exceeded the number of concurrent logins permitted to access this publication through your subscription.” What do I do?
You are likely logged into Scitation two or more times concurrently. Please click the “Unlock now and Reauthenticate” link at the bottom of the error page and log in again. If you still experience difficulties, please contact the Scitation Help Desk for further assistance. [hide answer]
I do not remember my username or password.

I recently purchased an article but it was the wrong article or I never received it.

What browser should I be using to best utilize your site?
Scitation strives to be fully compatible with all widely-used browsers. If you are experiencing problems, it is generally recommended that you update your browser to the most current version. We cannot guarantee compatibility with beta or test versions and acknowledge that incompatibilities may arise for a short time with any new browser releases, due to changes in functionality.
